Browse used books in the library's parking lot as the Friends of the East Lansing Public Library host their first Tailgate Sale!  A "Tail Gate Sale" is just that, used books will be in the trunks/backends of cars and trucks and on tables, sorted by general genres, including fiction, non-fiction, children's books and more.  Bags will be provided and you can fill a bag for $10 or pay your total with exact cash/check/card.  In addition to books we will be selling Friends' logo bags for $3 and homemade Friends' logo masks for $10.  All proceeds, as always, add to the Friends' ability to help the library.

As the safety of our volunteers and patrons is our first priority, we will: 

• Require masks
• Be Social Distancing (6 feet at least)
• Limit the number of patrons per tailgate

In the case of rain or other inclement weather the sale will be moved to Saturday, September 26.
