Interested in 3D Design but not sure where to start? This introductory workshop will teach participants the basics of using TinkerCAD, a free web-based design software. 3D Design can be used to create digitally rendered three-dimensional objects that can be 3D printed, imported into a variety of digital environments, or can be created just for the fun of it!
In this introductory workshop, we'll learn the basics of 3D design as we create our very own 3D files. Participants' creations will be 3D printed after the event using the library's 3D Printers.
Recommended Age: 10 and up (caregivers should plan to attend with younger participants, in order to be able to help them navigate the design program).
What to Bring: library laptops will be available at the program for participants to use, but participants are also welcomed to bring their own laptop if desired.
