Events › ELPL Rides! A casual bike ride series

Join ELPL Staff and local experts on a casual ride through East Lansing and surrounding areas! 

September 23rd: We'll gather at the library at 6pm for a brief safety/informational talk from an attorney and cyclist regarding cycling and the law. Then we'll ride together down Abbot, east on Burcham to the Inter-Urban Trail, and return to the library. 

October 21st: We'll gather at the library at 4pm for a brief safety/informational talk from City of East Lansing Principal Planner Landon Bartley. Then we'll ride together up Abbot to the Northern Tier Trail and back. 

October 28th: We'll start at the Library at 4:30 for a brief safety/informational talk. Then we'll ride down to the MSU Bikes Service Center where will be joined by Tim Potter, Sustainable Transportation Manager at the MSU Bikes Service Center. Tim will lead us on ride through points of interest, including the new Hagadorn road configuration. Tim Potter has put together a fun self-guided tour of MSU's campus. Check it out by clicking here.
