Presentation Summary: 

  • How do I make a balanced meal? What is an appropriate portion size?
  • It’s important to make sure we are eating from all the food groups to get all those wonderful nutrients. In this class, we will:
  • · Show you how to use MyPlate’s 5 food groups to make family meals nutritious, tasty and full of variety.
  • · Discuss the difference between a portion and a serving
  • · Practice building a balanced, healthy meal
