Events › Nature Write-Out with the Community Writing Center

Join the MSU Community Writing Center, the LCC Writing Center, and ELPL's Dr. B at the East Lansing Public Library for a Nature Write-Out Event! Write-outs encourage us to think holistically about our writing processes. As part of this write-out we will connect with nature, one another, and the community by reflecting upon and writing about the natural spaces around the library. Nature journals will be provided to participants (while supplies last), but please feel free to bring your own favorite writing journal if desired.

Weather permitting, we will have the option to spend a portion of this program outside of the library or at one of several nature-viewing windows within the library.  If you would like to participate outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather and take any of your usual preferred precautions for sun, insects, et cetera.  

This family-friendly event is open to writers of all ages, but caretakers should plan to accompany and assist their children throughout this event.
