I am going to send my first ever try at SF to this publisher. I understand this is a teen book however, the errors, scientific errors - the premise is so far erroneous... Is this a proper read for teens? No matter what your age or…

The beginning was a little slow but it became a can't-put-it-down book quickly. Loved the ending and I'm glad there's more in the series. Anticipating the arrival of the other 4!

A decent read but not great. A good start to the series with lots of foreshadowing. A little depressing and dark.

The format of the story does remind me of Susan Coopers "Dark is Rising" sequence of books. Its very black and white in its perception of good and evil.

I personally think this one of better Horowitz series that not too many people know of. There are 4 books to the series (there suppose to be 5!! – Can’t Wait!!!!) It involves five teens with powers, magic and evil corporations.
