I was shocked this was classified under comedy. Um, what exactly was funny about it? I did not laugh even once. I found it very sad actually. Made me think about the grim realities of human existence. It's a drama only, no comedy…

Clever and entertaining. Don't expect some feel-good movie though. It involves some pretty grim realities about life and the human condition. Hallmark would not go near this. Disney??? Too smart for Disney.

I gave this an extra star because of Emily Blunt, Amy Adams, Alan Arkin, and Mary Lyn Rajskub because I like them. Other than that, this movie didn't really ring my chimes, sorry.

Dark comedy with entertainingly absurd elements. Don't miss the bonus material featuring two women who actually work in that specialized, demanding field. I got a kick out of the sign on their van which touts "Crime and Trauma Scene…

Emotionally, Christine Jeffs’ film is all over the map. As a black comedy it elicits a few smiles mostly centred on gory mattresses and crawling maggots, and as a drama it fails to engage on anything but a superficial level—Norah finds…

Genial, soft-core, irreverent, funny and typically Hollywood in that it doesn't take itself too seriously. No spikes of emotion - all's smooth going but that's ok.
Interesting movie. Was surprised I hadn't heard of it at all. Like real life, a black comedy that won't appeal to everyone but watch the interview with the 2 women who do this job.

Draggy in spots, good story line not quite sure why it is listed as a comedy. Good Cast that needed a better script writer. Brief Nudity, and sex scenes , Definitely not a family movie.

In 2016, it seems crazy that a movie starring Amy Adams, Emily Blunt, and Alan Arkin could get practically no attention, but in 2009 this quiet charmer about a woman finding her true calling as a crime-scene cleaning specialist slid under…

Sweet & simple movie about an average single mom trying to stay sane & make a better life for her 8 year young son. Great cast, especially little Oscar.

Two girls with loose morals have been brought up by their father. One of the women has a child with behaviour problems, the Grandfather is the little boy's main caregiver and he's a bit of a looser, always looking for a scheme. Story of…

Warm likeable story about a pair of sister sluts who engage in immoral behavior while raising a moderately slow boy and starting a new business. Somewhat engaging, but has a weak plot and ending.

A painlessly enjoyable small indie movie. Though it doesn't reach the heights of 'Little Miss Sunshine' or 'Juno', the cast is excellent and they carry you along on their dysfunctional ride.
