The book did a great job describing everything that happened on Mim's mind and around her. The advernture she had was clear on how it was expressed and end was very well finished. Would read this book again, and would recommend to anyone…

Mosquitoland by David Arnold 4 out of 5 stars Mim Malone is in Mississippi. Unwillingly. She was dragged there, practically, by her dad and stepmother. It’s not an ideal situation. So when she hears that her Mom is sick, and still in…

Peppered with wacky characters and unlikely events, Mosquitoland has almost too much going on. Arnold has created a character with a very unique voice and there are many quotable passages throughout.

I liked this book a lot. It was following the story of a teenage girl whose parents are divorced and whose mom is sick. The ending was very nice, although somewhat expected. Told through first-person narration and letters to a sister, this…

This was an amazing book. It was well written and it seemed long for how many pages it had. The characters were well developed, and the main character was very relatable, different as she was. I recommend this for a slightly older audience…

As much an epic odyssey across the U.S. as it is a teenage runaway story. Arnold's novel follows the capricious, sarcastic, and headstrong Mim as she flees from her father and stepmother in rural Mississippi to find her mother, who may or…
