Along with the previous two in the series, I propose a changed in subject to the Lady Catherine Sommervell series.

Admiral Bolitho and "Lady" Catherine are so full of themselves that they put me to sleep. I couldn't finish CROSS OF ST. GEORGE.

We don't read these books for the romance; we read them for the sea adventures. One quick scene to prove him hetero is all that's needed. And nephew Adam is a boring sanctimonious necrophiliac twit.
