Add a CommentWhat a beautiful story of generosity! After World War II American children and families sent packages to European children as told in this story based on the author's mother's memories of her pen pan.
A favourite with our nearly 5 year old.
He says he loves it because it is about boxes :)
It also has a beautiful message about helping people you can't go wrong with reading this to children. Highly reccommend.
A heart-warming story that encourages generosity with lovely pictures. I use this book with my children around August/ September, and then we put together a shoebox to send through Samaritan's Purse's program "Operation Christmas Child."
