What a good interesting little novella via Stephen King. It's about a 20 years mystery. I liked the way the story goes, but it seems to me that it some what skips a little bit here and there, but I liked the book (it might be just me on that). In the "Afterword" Stephen King talks about how he came across in writing the "The Colorado Kid" and the mystery in the book and in life ("I'm really not interested in the solution but in the mystery. Because it was the mystery that kept bringing me back to the story, day after day."). I guess it's the mysteries that keeps us on the edge of our seats and on our toes and we keep coming back for more. At times we have to be careful when it comes to mysteries because it can get us in trouble and sometimes it can help us out let alone someone else out in their time of need. I guess mysteries are like curiosity (Curiosity killed the cat). There are mysteries that aren't meant to be solved and there are mysteries that are meant to be solved and mysteries that cannot be solved and mysteries that can be solved.

This book some how reminds me of "Joyland" via Stephen King.

Story seemed geared towards what it was suppose to be geared towards and that's old time Hard Case novels. Short and sweet with a plot that is overly and I believe intentionally predictable. I enjoyed it because on some level I like elements of cheese when given in a proper serving.

An interesting little novella from Stephen King. You learn all the details of a 20 year old death, but there is very little resolution...sometimes there are no answers. Which was King's point all along.
