Want a tug at your heartstrings? The documentary of Seabiscuit is a must see! The true story of a not so good looking racehorse, and an unlikely jockey, Red Pollard, who despite sustaining three separate horrific racing injuries, Seabiscuit and Red are the heroes of down-and-out Americans during the 1930's. I cannot say enough about this documentary and PBS who gives each one of us the opportunity to learn more about Seabiscuit on PBS online.

After reading the Hillenbrand book, I wanted to read more about Seabiscuit. Fascinating story, not only about the horse, but also about the jockey (who was born in Edmonton). This documentary captures the excitement surrounding Seabiscuit in the depression era. There are several races on Youtube that are also worth watching.
