Pond Scum is a book that revolves around the lives of a kid named Oliver and the citizens of the pond nearby his house. Oliver was obsessed with television and pulling the wings off of flies, but one day he changed. While assembling a TV antenna on his roof, he was attacked by a crow and he fell through the roof. There, inside his attic, he finds a mysterious golden jewel and he discovers its power to let Oliver transform into any animal he touches!! During the usage of this new-found power, Olive meets Mooch the salamander and Antoine the crow. But with great power comes great responsibility. One day, as Olive was at the pond, he discovers a plot to overthrow the pond’s government. Oliver must stop the plan using the power of the gem.

‘Tis good book.
