Lisa convinces the locals to clean up the polluted Lake Springfield after a crowd of fans sink the Green Day concert stage. Meanwhile, Homer saves a pig from being killed in Krusty Burger and adopts it, calling the animal Spider Pig. After two days, Spider Pig fills up a silo with its excrement and not knowing what else to do, Homer dumps the silo in the lake, polluting it. The angry population forces the Simpsons to move to Alaska. Meanwhile the president is induced by his advisor from the EPA to put a dome over Springfield to hold in the population and destroy the city. When Marge sees the news on television, she tells Homer that they must return to Springfield to save their town and friends, but Homer is not convinced that the people of Springfield deserve their support.

While technically a movie, The Simpsons is the longest running television show. And it wouldn't be the same show without Homer!

The popular, humorous, and somewhat inappropriate TV show, The Simpsons, finds itself made into a movie that has received very positive responses. On one hand, Lisa Simpson is the driving force behind the cleaning of the lake in the town as it was fairly polluted. On the other hand, the man of the house, Homer Simpson, has just dumped a whole bunch of waste into the lake and polluted it once again. Eventually, the town is basically quarantined with a giant see-through dome placed over it, and the Simpsons are driven out of town. Will Homer be able to redeem himself for the mistake he made? What will become of Springfield?

Well, it's okay, but it's really just an 89-minute episode. there's not much here that we couldn't have seen otherwise. Some things just are better left within their time constraints, really.

Meh...

I loved this movie, I just wish it was a little bit different than your average everyday episode. This is worth checking out especially to Simpsons fans!!

This movie was hilarious, I loved the plot:it involves mostly Lisa with a boyfriend, Marge and Homer arguing over Homer's selfishness, and finally Bart spending time with Homer. It aslo sends a lil bit of eco-friendly message: Homer gets in trouble for polluting the lake.
