I was so looking forward to Sigimor's story but this was disappointing. Very formulaic and uninspired. The pursuit by Jolene's enemy is not even slightly believable. Jolene herself is in no one way unique or interesting.

Hannah Howell has a delightful formula for her Highlander series, but does in fact tell a story with each one and provide a great deal of historical data. Reading them in order is fun.

The men are generally strong & handsome (but not always), and the women are usually feisty and may or may not be conventionally beautiful. Diverting reading with a little sex & romance.

And while I love the highlander novels, the extensive list on my completed shelf was added in one day so I could stop accidentally downloading e-books I had already read.
