Helvetica is a documentary film about typography, graphic design and global visual culture. It looks at the proliferation of one typeface as part of a larger conversation about the way type affects our lives. An exploration of urban spaces and the type that inhabits them, Helvetica invites us to take a second look at the thousands of words we see every day.

Just fascinating and even more so as I think helvetica is one of the most boring typefaces ever. I highly recommend this.

If the DVD(s) prove damaged, then I strongly recommend new copies ASAP. The content is worth the trouble!

This film is a fascinating look at a font that is ubiquitous, as well as signage and branding in general.

Who'd of thought that a movie about a font could be so interesting! I watched it twice. I gotta get a life.
