What if Snow White's claim to fame was her voice instead of her looks? This was a cute story sure to please younger fans of fairy tale retellings. It was also written at such a level that I would forget it was a juvenile title and get annoyed when the writing dipped a little childish. The audio was particularly delightful as it was a full cast and the songs were actually sung. Definitely recommended for readers looking for a happy ending!
The story is something of reinterpretation of the Snow White fairy tale. Aza is very, very likable character whose unfortunate lack of beauty mask a gorgeous singing voice.
Real fans of musicals will probably enjoy this very much. Lots of music, which works well given that it's the characters exist in a place were people sing as often as the speak. The strong story helped me to stick it out after I began to grow a little tired the singing.
This story is much better than I thought it was going to be when I began it. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
The story is very simple on the surface, but is more complicated than it seems at first.
I wasn't sure about listening to all the singing, but grew to appreciate its place in the story.
