Captivating. Lots of gritty detail about work as a war correspondent, which is so important to Marika's character. I loved the parts about Marika's journey (physical and spiritual) through Papua New Guinea.

Very interesting read. I found the main character to be intriguing. Wonderful character development and scenery description. This books makes you think about attempting the impossible, taking chances and following dreams.

I really enjoyed this book. It appealed to the Anthropologist in me and I found the observations of Papua New Guinean culture very interesting. I think it is worth the read.
