Tyler seems to always have a very giving, afraid to be assertive, main or lead character. I personally am aggravated by such people, but I love her ability to pull so many details out of the past to create very accurate scenes. Her humor is also a kick. I've read probably half her books now and still wish for a fairytale ending in one or more. Aw well, she could make it worse than reality, I guess. This one has more adventure than any of her other books I've read, which added to its twists.
