I had never read Deanne Gist before, and picked up this book on a whim, not expecting much. What I got was quite possibly (do I dare say it?) the cutest book I have ever read.

It is a historical romance, but it dives deeper, and has much depth to it, and a Christian backbone. I have now read most of Deanne Gist's books, and am a great fan of her work.

BTW I haven't read it, but I believe there is a prequel to this book.
