A truly heartwarming story of a loving family's successful 13 year struggle with their son's Tourette's Syndrome and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Book written by the boy's father, Hal Friedman and James Patterson.

I felt this book gave the reader a look at the real side of someones life. I think the most important part of the book was it felt real not sugar coated. I found myself understanding and rooting for Cory and his family the whole time.

While I enjoyed this book and read it fairly quickly, I was a little disappointed with the ending. I know it's a true story so I guess it couldn't be helped, but I expected something miraculous and uplifting to happen. It keeps you hoping and wishing for the boy and then bam, in one and a half pages all your hopes come true, just not how you expected. Still a good book, I'd recommend it.

OK read, sad story but not sure how inspiring I found it. Yes Cory's life was difficult, no I would not wish it on anyone, but I didn't think his recovery was so extraordinary nor did the writing elicit any deep feelings.
