Another well-written tale with lots of interesting background on London pubs. Maybe a tad too long and drags a bit at the end, and the solution is confusing and a little hard to believe, but it's an enjoyable entry in the series.

Nothing like the British for a subject like peculiar crimes.
Enchanting!
You will want to read more adventures of this cast of characters.

Delightful! (And I don't miss the stomach-turning description of Arthur Bryant's clothing Fowler usually imposes on us.)

While the book is an enjoyable read, my ability to suspend disbelief was tested to an almost insulting degree.

Middle aged matrons murdered in pubs, germ warfare, a serial killer, and another attempt to shut down the Peculiar Crimes Unit. Bryant and May and the motley crew that make up the unit solve another of London's "peculiar" crimes and create some havoc of their own. Wonderful details about the history of London pubs.
