I had hopes coming into this book, but about half way through, I lost all that hope. Overall the story was pretty good, I was wanting a bit more time travel after reading the back, but it was based more in modern day then the future. The dialog was okay, not the best, but okay. The action was decent I guess; I've read better but for a more kid oriented book the action was good. As for the ending, I'm not going to spoil it, but in my opinion, I didn't really like it. That all said, I felt let down after reading this book, it had potential, but it really didn't deliver. So with that I'll give The Tomorrow Code a 4/10. Could've been better.

I'm of two minds about this novel. On one hand, it is an excellent thought-provoker. What is humanity, exactly? Are we the cure or the disease? On the other hand, Falkner disregards science and practicality in the creation of his plot, and leaves some fundamental issues out of the novel. I also disliked the cliffhanger, since it is the cliche to end all cliches.

By far one of the most though-provoking teen books out there- also one of the best cliff hanger endings. Actually, the ending was probably my favorite part! But before I get too far ahead of myself here...

A great sci-fi, time-travel (sort of) novel that will keep you on your toes until you reach the last page. I definitely recommend it!
