Okay but not great thriller. It has it's moments but the twist ending isn't that surprising.

Strong cast is systematically murdered by a predictable plot & deficient script. What a pity!

Good - Righteous Kill (2008) 101 min. starring Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. These great actors team-up officially for the 2nd time (Heat and Righteous Kill; in Godfather II, the actors never appeared together on screen) in this pseudo-thriller about a cop who becomes judge and executioner. The film moves rather smoothly and is very interesting but then loses all credibility by the end of the picture. I can’t really say anything more or the plot would be given away. Just know that De Niro’s performance is menacingly great (as usual). I just wished he had a better script. Lastly, who cast 50 Cent to appear on screen with the great De Niro and Pacino? The more I think about it, the more I'm frustrated that this film could've been excellent. Too bad.
