Very Good Plot And Story That
Is Very Hard To Pull Away From.
If Start Reading Plan On At Least A 11/2 Hour Sitdown.

Hated the way this started. It was too sick for my taste. Did not finish listening to it. Very sick. Warning.

Again, I have to say that the Patterson-Paetro collaboration is not one of my favorites. They seem to put out books that in my opinion are not even close to the quality of the original Patterson works

Agreed this book is violent but Patterson knows how to keep you reading and loving his style of writing. Didn't disappoint this time, I was hooked from page one. Good read but not for everyone.

Just love Mr. Patterson's style and his ever so short chapters. This prolific author never fails!

this book was beyond anything i have ever read and that is saying a lot. my mind is still reeling from this book. to get into the mind of a killer is one thing, but Patterson does it beyond all the other books i have ever read and trust me that is a bunch. this one will haunt you, and make u really wander if there are people like the alliance and Henri out there is so, i hope i never meet them. to read this book i would advise take stock of what u know and then flush it down the drain this book is unlike any book i have ever read. James hit it out of the ball park. move over Dexter this book is unlike anything out there.

Extremely violent book. I have read many mystery and murder books and I think this one was one of the most violent books.
But, I did enjoy this book.....until the end. It just left us hanging....

I have read a couple of Patterson's other novels; " Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas, and " Sundays at Tiffany". I love his writing, and this book did not dissapoint. It was a totally different book for me, because I have not read a murder mystery in several years. I just had not found one that peaked my interest. Stephen King is a little too Sadistic as well as a few others for my taste. Even though the novel was graphic, and at times difficult to get through, Patterson's ability to write so fluidly kept my curiosity for the entire book.
I am sure that there are serial killers that have similar characteristics to Henri Benoit (the assassin in this case) and the way that he chooses to look at death. No one would hope that anyone's life would end in the malicious manner that some of the character's in the novel does. It keeps the reader on edge, and we want that happy ending, when justice is served. James Patterson does not exclude or leave out anything, and closure in a book of this genre is important to the reader. I was pleasantly surprised with my reactions to the novel. I anticipated an on edge, nail biting experience. I am not one to read a book in labeled in this genre, but maybe I have broken out of my shell a little bit.
