This series is not for children or young teens! The voice overs are all men even when the characters are woman. The Rape that is shown, is treated as if it was no big deal as the character states because things change when you are older. Example; at 65 you won't think being raped is so bad. In addition it is homophobic. The other topic in detail paedophilia, use of heroin, masochist and sadist. I could keep going but you get that this isn't for kids and maybe not adults if they think rape is no big deal. The other stories were ok, but this I would never recommend it.

I’ve already read the graphic novel version of Watchmen and it was extremely interesting seeing a more realistic version of super heroes in the world. Especially with modern day like problems and the way they went about telling the story is intriguing as it just unravels as you keep reading things begin getting more clear and in the end you get left off at a huge cliff hanger. Already knowing the plot, themes, etc, I didn’t know what to expect when I found out it was a motion comic. The motion comic was awesome it added movement in the scenes along with allowing the characters in each panels to express themselves better. The background music would set the mood without being too loud or overwhelming. The voice acting was questionable considering it was a guy who did the whole thing, even the girl parts, but otherwise it was done extremely well, heck it would have been perfect if they had a whole voice acting crew. I enjoyed this version far more than I enjoyed the movie because it was a lot closer and stuck with the comic which is the best version. Overall if you’ve already read Watchmen or not I totally recommend watching the motion comic, I promise you’ll enjoy it! - @magicsoup of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
