This is a lot of information in this book that encourages a reader to dig a little deeper. There is a simple timeline of bathing suit styles, an opportunity to compare responses in Europe versus the United States and a good jumping off point for a discussion about perseverance, innovation and hard work.
The title made it very appealing to my 1st grade girl but it is a story that could appeal to all sexes I think.
