This book was an amazing read! It manages to be crazy and sane all at the same time. Charyn's depiction of characters is believable and lovely, at moments it was hard to remember that some of the characters never existed. Even more amazing to me is that Charyn portrays Dickinson's femininity so well, her longing to wear trousers but her distinct female qualities. I recommend this novel to anyone that likes historical fiction and Emily Dickinson. =)
