This was the first title selected for the first Smorgasbook! cookbook book club. This title received a 5 fork rating from the group. Great photos that are grouped together for the cookbook reader. The recipes are simple and use fresh ingredients. Midway through the book Batali walks the reader through the differences between the cornucopia of Italian cheeses and hams. Bonus features include a glossary of common Italian ingredients, a list of specialty shop where you can purchase hard to find ingredients. Perfect for the cook or the cookbook reader!
