The second in a decent series except that I am getting tired of the omnipotent Bad Guy who is always one step ahead and frankly, better at being evil than the good guys are at .. doing anything, really.

At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book and I actually enjoyed. I do wish that I had read the Weather Warden series before I started this one though because I think somethings would have made a whole lot more sense.

Unknown is full of passion, action, and memorable characters. And it's these gripping characters that will captivate the reader throughout the entire book and have you looking for book 3 to read right away.

Rachel Caine is always a fun, light read. Perfect brain candy. This installment in the outcast series is interesting - to have an alien come down and learn to be human is interesting. Especially as the first book provided Cassiel the opportunity to bond to a human family. And the heat between the two main protagonists is nice, and without sex too! Which is really refreshing to see in the romance / paranormal adventure genre.

I love this series. It's bubblegum for the mind. Easy read with fun characters.

And a part of me had been burned black in the process – a critical part that connected me to the human race. - Cassiel
