The only thing that is good about this book is the cover. The book could win an award for the amount of cliches in it. The whole thing was shallow and disappointing. Definitely will not be taking out any others in the series.

Read this whole series in a few days! Loved it!

I loved it. It was full of fantasy, intrigue, adventure, crushes, action and danger, and betrayals. My attention was focused on the story, the pace was really good, it seemed almost like a quick read (which I like), and all of the characters were amazing. I'm seeing the depth behind all of them, loving them all, and I even love to hate some (one of) the characters. It's just an all-around, great fantasy read. I would recommend this series, and I think that really it should get more recognition than it does.

An interesting idea for a book series. Dana isn't expecting anything big to happen when she leaves her home to find her father, she is very wrong. I appreciated how Dana was a pretty normal teenager and her reactions her realistic. Very good book.

i usually dont like fairy/faerie stories that much, because well...i dont know. it seems like its basically the same thing. but the main character (although not as admirable as strong main characters or as annoying as whiny, useless ones) is actually pretty likeable. she's completely average, but for some reason, she still has CHARACTER. And i like her voice. I like the other characters too (kimber, finn, etc...) and i think that's what made the book so enjoyable - the characters. and the fact that the faerie plot was more political than magical, yet also had the right amount of each that theres a perfect balance. it wasn't too cliched of a plot. im excited to read the next book, and im hoping and praying that dana ends up with keane (<3) even though im pretty sure she won't. :( sighh....

I loved this book!!! It wasn't your typical story on faeries. I thought it was interesting how humans could live amoung the fae, which is something I haven't read in any other book. I like Dana and how she's brave and funny and actually seems real. I've fallen in love with all of the guys; Finn, Keane, Lachlan, and (even though he betrayed her) Ethan. When I first met Kimber, I was thinking, "Oh boy, I'm gonna hate her," but now I'm totally jealous that I can't be friends with her! Can't wait to read the next one, and I am sooooo going to make some hot posset! :)

5 stars! It was really good and I read it in less than 2 days, couldn't put it down. It is classified as young adult fiction and the main character is 16 but I didn't find that a put off at all, anyway twilight series and harry potter series are young adult fiction too and they are both well received by adults. I liked the author's take on the Fae, Avalon and Faerie. I cant wait to read the next one.

Disappointing - the plot never really went anywhere other than where the main character ended up. It is the first book in what appears to be a series, so maybe the next one will be better.

“I can see why you opted out of Knight training,” I countered. “They’d have ‘accidentally’ killed you before you made it to adulthood.
