I'm sorry to say that I didn't particularly enjoy this book. I love most of Haddix's other books, but this one made me depressed and it was very intense. It is something that I would not suggest to anyone that is not in highschool or older.

I love how in this book, Maragret Haddix describes what it is actually like being in a sort of cult-like enviroment from the perspective of a teenage girl. It really got me thinking about how people are persuaded and talked into things and opened my eyes! I wasn't expecting to read something so intense, but it really good!
