I loved this book and was sorry to see it end.

Even if you are not a real baseball fan this is a book well worth reading. The author gets you right at the scene and has lots of insights into the players involved both before, during and after the game. Did you know the hitter who sent the game into extra innings with a sacrifice fly went 0-12 in the game. It took over 8 hours to play the first 32 innings before a belated curfew and just 18 mins. to play the 33rd. about two months later!
