Too long and tedious. very plodding style to get anywhere. Hard to keep interested. There was TMI for a mystery. If she had been writing a historical tour of England around WWi, the information, the long-winded sentences would have been more appropriate.

One of my favorite authors of historical suspense novels. Like previous books, this is more an Edwardian soap opera than a mystery. Although there are murders to be solved, it is the methodical unraveling of secrets that give this story the most juice! If you enjoy books about this era, or are a fan of the Downton Abbey series you will love this book!
