funny book. sad too! BUT happy ending! ;)

By turns poignant and funny. Highly recommended, but I'm not sure for what age. The themes and reading level are suitable for students in grades 4-6, but students above 4th grade may be unwilling to read about a 9-year-old fourth grader. Although I think 9-year-olds would enjoy the story, they may be too young to fully understand its import.
