When she, while trying to find the missing god of dreams, is imprisoned in the Nether Realm, Dream-Hunter Lydia, the guardian of the gates of Olympus, which holds back one of the world's darkest powers, must fight against temptation to save her own kind from danger. Original.

McMillan Palgrave

Dream-Hunter Lydia has been charged with the most sacred and dangerous of missions: To descend into the Nether Realm and find the missing god of dreams before he betrays the secrets that could kill her and her kind. What she never expects is to be taken prisoner by the Realm's most vicious guardian…

Seth's time is running out. If he can't hand over the entrance to Olympus, his own life and those of his people will be forfeit. No matter the torture, Seth hasn't been able to break the god in his custody. Then there's the beautiful Dream-Hunter Lydia: She isn't just guarding the gates of Olympus—she's holding back one of the world's darkest powers. If she fails, an ancient curse will haunt the earth once more and no one will be safe. But evil is always seductive...

Book 21 about Seth and Lydia, preceded by No Mercy and followed by Time Untime. Good read, again.

Good story line but do agree with girlblues. It's time for Kenyon to get out of all the torture. May be that's her life right now.

I usually dig her books and am a great advocate of hers. But this book was a major disappointment. Seems like Sherrilyn is lost in a world of miser and pain and does not know what else to put into the book. She needs to come out of her funk

Here's a hint about the Guardian. The colors on the cover are the same as another book in the series. And like the badass in that book, Seth has suffered the same kind of abuse. TMI about Azura's appetites.
