This book might appeal to a British ex-pat, but be forewarned. The writer is sarcastic, develops unlikeable characters and writes in lower class idioms. I didn't understand 90% of what the writer calls humor. My question is who would recommend this writer to the Baright Library? boo

Good as a police procedural but not nearly the amount of puns usually found in a Bill Slider mystery.

This was a really great book. I usually don't care for books with a lot of characters but she really made them all work. I am definitely going to read more of her works.
