A bit slow and complicated at the beginning .However it turned out quite exciting at the end.

It seemed to be bait far fetched at first, got better and now I am enjoying it..

Another Charlotte and homas Pitt Victorian mystery. Does not disappoint. Best read in series order.

Interesting plot involving the turmoil in Europe the proceeded World War I. A bit slow going at the start. Since Pitt is now involved in intelligence work there is more political intrigue than in the early books. Still a good read if you like the period and characters.
