Stuart Woods is in top form…and so is his perennially popular hero, Stone Barrington!
When a hedge fund billionaire hires Stone Barrington to talk some sense into his wayward son, it seems like an easy enough job; no one knows the hidden sins and temptations of the ultra-wealthy better than Stone. But as Stone and his erstwhile protégé, Herbie Fisher, probe deeper into the case—and an old one comes back to haunt him---he realizes that even he may have underestimated just how far some people will go to cover up their crimes…and plan new ones.

From Manhattan’s mahogany-paneled law offices to its modern penthouse lofts and dimly lit nightclubs, the trail of entrapment and murder leads to a shocking act that no one could ever have anticipated.

Baker & Taylor
Hired by a hedge-fund billionaire whose son has gone missing, Stone Barrington and Holly Barker launch what they believe will be an open-and-shut investigation only to uncover links to one of the most wanted and dangerous men in the world.

Sturat Woods used to be one of my favorite authors. Read Son of Stone and vowed it would be the last Woods for me. Against my better judgement, I read D.C. Dead. Another loser. Then, the masochist in me came out and I read, in its entirety, Unnatural Acts. What is Mr. Woods doing? He must be fulfilling some contract obligations to put out 3 works o f uninspired, lamely written, barely readable drivel in a row. No more!!

Very disappointed with an author I have enjoyed. This is like 3 short stories with characters so shallow and uninteresting plodding along in terrible plots that I couldn't believe its the same writer.

Agree with previous reader. Not much dealing with Stone and Dino. I hope this is not the start of the end of Stone Barrington:(.

Extremely light weight; mostly about Herbie. This could have been a short, short story. Stone and Dino fans will be disappointed.
