I found this book boring and completely uninspiring. I would not recommend this book to anyone. A previous comment by wordwoman007 is exactly how I feel. "It's a weight watchers infomercial in written form." Would not be surprised if they paid her to write it.
This book has two halves: 1) Ms. Hudson is VERY full of herself and seems to think that she has more talent than anyone else; and 2) It's a Weight Watchers infomercial in written form. It is very, very repetitive and lacks the substance I hoped that she would examine. I admired her more before I read the book. Now, my opinion of her has taken a nosedive.
This was an OK book. I didn't feel like it was written with any sort of passion though. She skims over the generic details of her like then jump into how she came to be on Weight Watchers and moves through her journey on the plan. I was hoping for more substance, not an infomercial.
A very inspiring book by a young woman who has succeeded against the odds.
