Not a very entertaining book. Half of the book is a recap of all prior books in this series and there was never a build up of the plot. The story ended abruptly, seems like the contracted pages were met and time to move the story to the next novel.

Sad. Griffin, in an afterward, admits he just had trouble writing the book given the current administration in Washington DC and the foreign policy generated there. So he went for a kind of slapstick, over-the-top absurd humor.

It turns out that back in the 790s Griffin was the person contracted to write several "sequels" to Richard Hooker's M*A*S*H. Hooker's book was better than the movie; Griffin's sequels were dreadful. This switch from action romance to humor was just as awful.

Stick to action, guys. Please!

Worthless story. More on political side than military action. There are some funny parts as the narrator uses funny accent for the voice of the president's character.

Loved it. When is the next one coming.

This novel, like many other Griffen stories, reads like a cross between The Hardy Boys and a voluminous Russian novel: A guaranteed cure for insomnia.
His obsession with pedantic, descriptive minutiae mixed with long-winded dialogue ergo hieght, weight, colour of eyes etc. of indivdual characters or descriptions of wearing apparal leaves little to the readers imagination and buries the underlying narrative. Succinctly: A real plodder.

This would be terrible without reading prior books in the President's Agent series. I love these classy heroic cool characters.

Far fetched as 007 stuff, but deliciously corny.
I love the military respect and intrigue.

Dick Hill is a very entertaining narrator, although with CDs I ended up getting the book - don't know what happened to the last 3rd I thought I downloaded to MP3.

Reads like an episode of 24. Too slow and too much dialogue with short bursts of action.
