An outstanding book by a poet, musician, activist, and crack head. Heron was a troubled soul, but had incredible talent for music, rhythm, and social commentary. This is his story, told with compulsive poetry and love. But it doesn't tell the whole story, not by a long shot. Check out his Amnesia express concert in Paris for a later edition of his groovy music.

This is the memoir of Scott-Heron, spoken-word poet and musician. This book introduced me to this interesting, committed artist.
