Not sure I actually enjoyed reading this book because it was unbelievably sad on so many levels, although I admire the author's storytelling prowess. The Dog Who Danced is the doggie version of The Light Between Oceans, where the reader is caught in a drama of a love and a loss so deep, between what is fair and merciful, hoping that somehow there will be a satisfying ending to the story; I believe the author accomplishes this nicely.

A wonderful story about a lost dog and his owners unrelenting search to find him, told in part by the owner and also through the eyes of the dog. The only thing that spoiled it for me was the really bad language sprinkled throughout the book.

A book that would be enjoyed by dog lovers. It illustrates the strong bond between master/owner and canine and how a dog can heal others and bring the people back together.
