I found this book by accident, searching for another topic entirely but am so glad I did. She is one of the funniest writers I have read. Love her wit, her sarcasm and her flat-out honesty!

Jen Lancaster is one of the funniest writers I have ever read. You catch yourself laughing out loud and thinking to yourself I was thinking that but would never say out loud.
Jen has no such filter which is great, she is honest, to the point and her sarcasm is hilarious.
I am looking forward to reading her newest release.

If you are looking for your next fix of Jen check out her blog. She just posted her summer reading list.

I don't even know where to start on this one. I love Jen Lancaster, and her newest book is just one more reason why. A little know-it-all, a little self deprecation, all Gen-X. This is a chuckle out lound on the bus kind of book. And, although I would recommend reading all her books in chronological order, it's not mandatory.

Getting old sucks for Generation X-ers like myself, stuck between an Atari and a smartphone. This book makes it seem all right. Love the Apocalypse Now references in the Whole Foods before Thanksgiving chapter.

I relate to Jen so much!! My first love was Andy Gibb (the first 45 I ever owned), then Rick Springfield was the love of my life....he wasn't my first concert, but I celebrated my 33rd birthday with him and my friends! Burn Notice is my favourite show and I loved all her references to Michael Weston, and I totally earned 10 points for catching the Fresh Prince reference! Love, love, love her books!! Keep 'em coming! Always good for a laugh!!

Another great Jen Lancaster entry. She is in her potty mouthed, Alice Kravitz glory here, with a few insights to her softer, more personal side. I have read every one of her books, and through this one, I feel like we're seeing more of her, instead of just the tough as a shellac manicure persona.

Stacey pauses a moment to collect her thoughts before she says, "So what you're telling me is that you don't want to help needy girls with their prom dresses because you're afraid it will one day cause you to dress like C-3PO."
