With the release, some time back, of the Wikileaks' U.S. Department of State cables, there is absolutely no excuse for any sane person to take this idiot of an author seriously. The Obama Administration is simply the fifth neocon administration in a row: Reagan, Bush #1, Clinton, Bush #2 and now Obama. Wall Street has preselected their 2016 representatives, either (Jeb) Bush and (Hillary) Clinton, or perhaps a Robert Mueller III in Jeb's place, but it's already a done deal.

Despite its cartoon-like cover, this is a dead serious book about Obama's foreign policy. The author discusses problems and policies with various nations. There's an emphasis on discussing aides and advisors to the president and their role in developing policy as well as comparing Obama's decisions with those of his predecessors. The book is well-written and suitable for the layperson. However, it becomes heavy lifting after awhile to read foreign policy for 350 pages. I'd suggest buying the book and reading it a chapter at a time so it can be absorbed.
