A good starter book for anyone thinking of living off the grid. Gives you the basic ideas of what you'll need to consider before and after, so you know what to learn in-depth before you attempt to cut the cord. Most things are skimmed, some go oddly in depth (not enough to be proficient, but more than you need for an intro). Easy fast read, no illustrations.

While this book may have other information related to "living off the grid", the beekeeping section is not very well put together nor is all of the information accurate.

I would not recommend the beekeeping section of this book to anyone

As to the rest of the content, I'm not a big fan of the presentation. easy book to skim and get bored with.
