Disappointing. A trace of the old wonderful Onion bite, but you will be skipping over entries by page three. Best definitions are about on the level of Ambrose Bierce's worst.

It's a encyclopedia that makes fun of everything. EVERYTHING.

If you liked reading Mad Magazine as a kid, you'll probably have the right sense of humor for the Onion Book of Known Knowledge. Although some of the humor falls flat, most of it is whacky and fun. Some of it is brilliant. I'm not sure how many people would read this from beginning to end like I did, but some of the entries are pure gold. I give it a B plus.
