excellent reference book, with explanations of strengths, weaknesses and uses for the different methods.

What a great book for a knitter to have. I only knew 2 cast on methods and both require a long tail. Now I know more! Lots of pictures to make learning a new method easy and (fairly) painless!

Really detailed, step by step book on how to move through different stitches. Wish I had the time to go through all of them, one at a time, instead of referencing what I needed right now.

This book is everything right. It is a smaller size, coil bound so it lays flat and has numerous photographs to accompany the written instruction. I'll be purchasing my own copy.

Just what it says, clearly illustrated. Possibly more variations than anyone could use, but oddly fun to read.
