The terrifying powers of this magic chocolate have the ability to destroy the world.

Soon, Oz and Lily are swept into a thrilling battle, helped by an invisible cat, a talking rat, and the ghost of an elephant. It's up to them to stop the villians and keep the magical chocolate recipe out of harm's way. Their family and the world depends on it.

I'm a young 69 and I adored this book and recommended it to both my daughter and her ten year old son. The premise is delightful; the book is fast paced; and it holds together quite well. The children are realistic and there are two great twists in the end, one about the twins and triplets and the other about how the twins are connected to the third magical child in the book. It is fun to read a book set in real time with magical characters in it and humans with a touch of magic too. I do hope that there will be sequels to the book.

"Twins Lily and Oz are fascinated by the closed-down chocolate shop in the house their family just inherited -- and that's before they meet the invisible talking animals who live there. But the Secret Ministry of the Unexplained is also interested in the shop, and soon the twins are swept up in a mission to prevent their immortal uncle Isadore from unleashing chocolatey doom on the world. Readers will be enchanted by the warmth and imagination in this unpredictable fantasy. For more whimsical tales of modern magic, check out The Last Dragonslayer by Jasper Fforde and The Secret of Platform 13 by Eva Ibbotson."

Review title: England Escapade.
Wizards, warlocks, and witches are trying to undo a past wrong. Add some young people, a cat, and a rat and see what happens. Then add London as the backdrop and you have a recipe for a good storyline. The main characters are developed enough for you to visualize them in your mind. *Great novel.
