Now I want to know more about Librarian Moore and all those other pioneering librarians! But there are no adult biographies on her. I'll have to start digging around for the random snippets of interesting information.

Sheds some light on the evolution of the library and the children's section. Those of us who work in Early Literacy or Juvenile departments are grateful for Miss Moore and the other pioneers noted in this book. How ironic that today many bring their children to the library yet do not read themselves. Hurray for books and the blessings they bring to all ages!

Loved this story! Of course, I am a little biased, but I think Miss Moore is pretty awesome. :)
